Texas resident Joe Pressil, who is a 36-year-old telecoms manager, said that the incident took place three mothers after he broke up with his girlfriend and he had no idea that she had undergone IVF treatment until he received the bill for the treatment from the fertility clinic.

Pressil is now suing Advanced Fertility Center and Omni-Med Laboratories in Houston for conducting the treatment without his permission. “Actually, I couldn’t believe it could be done. I was very, very devastated. I couldn’t believe that this fertility clinic could actually do this without my consent, or without my even being there”, Pressil said.

He went on to add that artificial insemination was against his religious beliefs. Pressil had earlier been successfully sued by his girlfriend after he had refused to provide child support.
