DEER PARK, TX (KTRK) -- A former Deer Park gym owner filed a lawsuit against the authors of a book that accused former Houston Astros pitcher Roger Clemens of using steroids.

Former gym owner Kelly Blair filed the suit Monday against New York Daily news reporters who wrote the book 'American Icon: The Fall of Roger Clemens and the Rise of Steroids in America's Pastime.'

Blair says he lost his business because the book claimed he provided steroids to Clemens and linked him to an underground steroid network.

"Just getting back my reputation, not letting these people get away with what they've done to me," said Blair. "I've lost my business, my reputation, my ability to get more professional clients. I lost the heavyweight champion of the world, was training at the time because of it, and that was big payday for me."

On Tuesday, Blair will head to Washington DC to appear before a grand jury investigating Clemens.
